Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data OMG Deals collects, why, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can, because delivering a digital file does not require much.

What we collect

  • Your email address and mobile number, entered in the Razorpay payment window. Your email and number are how your product is delivered (by email and WhatsApp).
  • Order details: the product purchased, amount, order and payment reference, and timestamps.
  • Download activity: how many times your download link has been used, so we can protect links and help you if one stops working.
  • Basic website analytics: pages viewed and general traffic sources, recorded anonymously on our own server (no name, email, phone or IP address) and used in aggregate to improve the site.

We do not collect or store your card number, UPI ID, CVV or bank credentials at any point. Those are handled entirely by Razorpay.

Why we hold it

  • To deliver the product you paid for and to reissue download links.
  • To provide customer support and handle refunds.
  • To keep records of transactions as required for accounting and tax.

Who we share it with

  • Razorpay — our payment processor, to take and verify your payment.
  • Hostinger — our hosting and email provider, which stores the site and sends your delivery email.
  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — to send your download link to the mobile number you gave at payment, and to deliver messages if you contact us on WhatsApp.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram ads) — see "Advertising measurement" below.
  • Government authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.

We do not sell your data.

Advertising measurement

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure whether those ads work, the site uses the Meta Pixel, which records page views and purchases in your browser. When you buy, we also tell Meta about the purchase (product, amount and order reference) together with your email address and mobile number in hashed (scrambled, one-way encoded) form, so Meta can match the purchase to an ad you saw without receiving them in readable form. Meta's use of this data is covered by Meta's privacy policy. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

WhatsApp chats

If you message OMG Deals on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp phone number, your profile name and the messages you send. We use them only to answer your questions, help with your order and, if you ask, pass the chat to a member of our team. Replies may be generated automatically from our product information and FAQs.

WhatsApp messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta Platforms. We keep a short recent history of each chat so replies make sense, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from us.

Marketing email

We send you the email needed to deliver your order. We will only send you promotional email if you have separately opted in, and every such email carries an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Product files are stored outside the public web directory and are reachable only through a signed, expiring link tied to your order. Order records are not publicly accessible.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email omgdeals20@gmail.com and we will action the request.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you — including your WhatsApp chat history — at any time. Email omgdeals20@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and include the email address or phone number you used. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, except for order records we must keep by law for accounting and tax.

Who runs this site

OMG Deals (omgdeals.in) is operated by OMGDEALS, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India. For any privacy question or complaint, write to omgdeals20@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The Meta Pixel sets an advertising measurement cookie (_fbp) in your browser, as described above. Our own analytics stores an anonymous random ID in your browser so repeat visits can be counted. Razorpay's checkout may set cookies necessary to process your payment securely. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site and checkout still work.
